After many years of investigation, it was clear that the traditional importance given to pressure mapping on seat design for office chairs was flawed. Exponential changes in seat pressure occur with seat angular adjustments and therefore should not be the basis used in creating office seats.
Spring seats, memory foam, and split seats do not address the issue of changing pressures with seat angular adjustments. Above all, these seat technologies do not contain and stabilise the pelvis. Bio seat provides pelvic support and stabilisation.
