Understanding Our Products
At Sit and Move, we want you to be absolutely thrilled with your purchase. Please take a moment to read our policy, as it explains our procedures for exchanges and returns.
Many of our items are customised, made-to-order, or arrive fully assembled to meet your specific needs. Due to their unique nature, these products generally cannot be returned or exchanged simply because you change your mind.
To help you make the best decision, we strongly encourage you to:
- Visit our showrooms: You can try out and experience products firsthand at our world-class showrooms.
- Request samples: For larger quantity orders, we may be able to arrange product samples.

Effortless Returns
Should you find a product isn’t quite the right fit, you have 7 days from delivery to return it for an exchange or refund. The item must be in “as new” condition, complete with its original packaging. Please note, the shipping costs for these types of returns will be your responsibility.
Healthcare Products: For Your Health & Safety
For hygiene and health reasons, all healthcare products – including, but not limited to, recliners, pillows, support belts, mattresses, and beds – cannot be returned or exchanged once they’ve been purchased.
Initiating Your Return
All returns require prior authorization from Sit And Move before you send any items back to us. To begin the process, simply get in touch with our helpful Team Members via our Contact Us page or by sending an email to [email protected]. We’ll promptly provide you with all the necessary return instructions.
Conditions for Returns
To ensure a smooth return experience, please make sure your product meets these criteria:
- Return Window: You have 7 days from your order’s delivery date to start a return.
- Return Shipping Fees: You are responsible for all shipping fees and associated costs for returns.
- Product State: The item must appear “as new,” showing no signs of wear, tear, or damage. We cannot accept returns for items that are not in a sellable condition.
- Packaging: The product must be fully disassembled and packed in its original, undamaged packaging, including all product stickers, tickets, and tags.
- Damage Charges: Charges may apply if the original packaging is not returned, or if the goods or packaging arrive damaged or with missing parts.
- Return Documentation: Please include a copy of your original order invoice with the returned products.
- Exclusions: Custom orders or bulk orders are not eligible for returns based on a change of mind.
- Restocking Charge: Please be aware that all returns due to a change of mind will incur a 30% restocking fee.
Addressing Incorrect, Faulty, or Damaged Items
Your satisfaction is incredibly important, and we stand by the quality of our products. In the rare instance that your order arrives damaged, is missing parts, or you’ve received an incorrect item, we are committed to resolving this for you as quickly as possible.
Damaged Deliveries
If your item arrives damaged or you believe it is faulty, please contact us immediately. This must be done within 7 days of the date you receive your product. We’ll work quickly to address the issue. We may ask you to send photographs to [email protected] to help us assess the damage or fault. If the product is indeed found to be damaged or faulty, and the issue isn’t minor, we’ll replace the entire product or the specific damaged/faulty part free of charge.
Product Warranties
All Sit And Move products come with a minimum 1-year warranty. Many of our products offer even longer coverage, with warranties extending from 10 to 15 years, providing you with lasting peace of mind.
Specifically, fabrics used in upholstery come with a 3-year warranty, unless a different warranty period is explicitly stated by the fabric manufacturer.
